Water Bore Drilling
CorePacific Drilling renders complete bore water drilling packages conforming to globally recognised standards stated in ‘Minimum Construction Requirements for Water Bores in Australia, 4th Edition'. We provide small scale domestic water bore drilling services to large urban and district towns, bore water drilling services as well as industrial large diameter deep dewatering bores with flow rate of more than 100 litres per second. CPDL takes pride in its work starting from Geophysical and Hydrogeological Investigation for ground water resources to pump testing and commission.
Mineral Exploration Drilling
We have both manportable and heli-flyable drill rigs capacity to support any scale and scope of drilling service. Our versatile drill rigs coupled with a highly trained PNG drilling team delivers any drilling campaign exceeding our client expectations. Blasthole Drilling
Rotary Air Blasting uses compressed air and a hammer for breaking the rock and lifting the cuttings between the annulus. Rock cuttings accumulate on the drill collar forming and cone mound that is sometimes sampled for laboratory testing for economical minerals. The open hole is than loaded with explosives for blasting purposes.

Resistivity Survey and Downhole Geophysical Survey
CorePacific Drilling's technical team consists of an experienced geo-scientific team that carries out specific tests and surveying related to mineral exploration and water resource exploration. One of the many key services we provide is Resistivity Survey. We have at our disposal both the conventional Resistivity survey method to cover larger area with instrument such as Terra meter and Electrodes set up using the Slumberger method where current is induced into the formation. The response is measured to calculate the resistance of each material to pass current. Least resistive material such as water, clay, etc. and highly resistive materials such as rock, soil, cavities, etc.
The newer method used for resistivity surveying measures more than 8,000 meters within a single day. This means you have more coverage within less time. The method uses Earth’s natural electromagnetic properties to generate response within each strata up to a penetration depth of 500 meters resulting in quicker data acquisition, processing and interpretation on the fly. Informed decision making is made on site whilst the survey is undertaken unlike the conventional Slumberger method.
